Qualifications

  • 2-5 years as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, with experience working on various heavy machinery.
  • Required: Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician Certification and additional diagnostic systems certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and identify mechanical problems to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to ensure heavy equipment operates safely and efficiently.
  • Perform detailed equipment inspections and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Work with team members to complete projects on time.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent; Preferred: Completion of a Heavy Equipment Technician training program, would consider a Red Seal Welder
  • Experience: 2-5 years as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, with experience working on various heavy machinery.
  • Certifications: Required: Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician Certification. Preferred: Additional certifications in advanced diagnostic systems. Would consider Red Seal Welding Certificate.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
