Job description

Position: Licensed Red Seal Certified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

Pay rate: $47.96 per hour

Shift: Straight Afternoons (Monday to Friday), 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM

Employment: Full-time, permanent with one of the largest employers and fleet owners in Canada

Requirements: Clear Criminal Check, Class 5 driver's license, Red Seal certification

The role involves repairing trucks in Richmond, BC, troubleshooting, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and emergency road service. Candidates must have:

1. Red Seal certification
2. At least 2 years of experience with heavy-duty trucks
3. Good communication skills in English
4. Basic computer skills
5. Ability to work independently and in a team
6. Clear criminal check and driver’s abstract (no more than 4 demerit points)
7. Willingness to work evening shifts long-term
