We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Carpenter / Pre Eng Metal Building Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to fabricate, build, restore, and install various structures and fixtures. This role requires a commitment to quality craftsmanship and an understanding of construction processes.

Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair steel structures.

Perform installation of steel structures, siding, doors, windows, and other essential elements.

Restore and maintain existing structures to ensure both structural and aesthetic appeal.

Operate power tools and machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment to support operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar related construction role.

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools.

Experience in working at heights with a strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations, including WHMIS compliance.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve site-related issues effectively.

Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Ability to accurately interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings.

Familiarity with operating aerial lifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts or telehandlers is considered an asset.

Valid Class G drivers licence and the ability to get to work.

Out of Town work required, lodging and daily per diem provided.
