Recycling and Garbage Truck Driver / Loader

Brantford, ON Full-time $26.00 / hour

Job Duties:

1. Operate waste collection / recycling vehicle;
2. Load curbside materials into the truck;
3. Provide excellent customer service in accordance with company policies;
4. Ensure assigned routes are successfully completed in a timely and safe manner;
5. Conduct pre and post trip inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.

Requirements:

1. Valid Ontario DZ driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract and CVOR;
2. Minimum one year experience driving with DZ licence OR an AZ graduate from an accredited driving school;
3. Ability to lift up to 50lbs;
4. Able to successfully pass a background check including an MTO medical / drug test, criminal history search, license verification, and employment confirmation;
5. Punctual, reliable, and a team player.
