Job Description

We are seeking freelancers/consultants for on-site IT Support in Ottawa and surrounding areas to join our team! Fluent French and English are a plus. As a team member, you will assist our clients with resolving a range of computer-related issues and/or provide on-site support as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation of workstations.
  • End-user support for executives, office personnel, and other key stakeholders; this includes installation and configuration of hardware and software, as well as security functions like password resets.
  • Data copying/restoration, migrating Windows 7 to Windows 10 using tools such as Azure, SCCM, PXE boot.
  • Basic networking, rack/stack/patch, remote support.
  • Working with Active Directory, domains, group policy.
  • E-mail, A/V conferencing, VoIP device replacement and configuration.
  • Support for enterprise solutions like Microsoft Office365, Exchange, Anti-Virus software.
  • Providing timely executive support.
  • Technical support for applications and devices like network printers, O365 applications.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years support experience in enterprise environments with Windows and some Apple/Mac hardware.
  • Application support for Microsoft Office365, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online.
  • Knowledge of Azure, Intune, and other cloud services.
  • Experience with Windows Server, Mac OS X, iOS, Windows 7-10.
  • Printer setup and network configuration.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
