Humans of HR is proud to partner with a leading Healthcare Client to find an exceptional Talent Acquisition Specialist for a 10-month contract role with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent.

About the Role :

Reporting directly to the Talent Acquisition Leader, you’ll be the strategic partner driving recruitment success across critical frontline positions. This is more than a traditional recruitment role – we’re looking for someone who can build meaningful relationships with internal stakeholders, deploy creative sourcing strategies, and deliver top-tier talent that supports the healthcare system.

What You’ll Do :

  • Partner with business leaders and HR teams to provide strategic support throughout the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Hiring Managers, TA Specialists and HR Business Partners, ensuring alignment on hiring needs and candidate fit.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to engage and attract top talent across multiple channels – job boards, social media, events, referrals, and more.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment : posting, screening, interviewing, recommending candidates, and onboarding.
  • Continuously build and nurture pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future needs.
  • Re-evaluate and enhance recruitment programs to ensure continuous improvement and effectiveness.
  • Own and manage recruitment systems (ATS), ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

What You Bring :

  • A diploma or degree in Human Resources or Business Administration (or equivalent).
  • 3–5 years of strong recruitment experience, ideally in a fast-paced or healthcare setting.
  • A proven track record in talent sourcing with mastery in tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and social media.
  • Deep understanding of employment legislation, compliance, and recruitment best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – you know how to influence and build trust.
  • Strong critical thinking and organizational skills – you can juggle priorities without missing a beat.
  • Experience working independently, with strong project management and execution abilities.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital collaboration tools.
