Job Title: Sr. Recruiter
Location: Montreal, QC (Onsite)
Duration: 12 + Months
Daily Responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough intake conversation with hiring manager detailing the position needs, scope and clarifying joint roles and expectations; act as Subject Matter Expert for managers throughout the recruitment process
- Embed diversity conversations in all recruitment and sourcing activities.
- Full life‑cycle recruitment from sourcing, screening, assessing, interviewing, recommending candidates, offer negotiations etc.
- Manage the recruitment process including document/track all pertinent information using Applicant Tracking System
- Build/maintain pipeline of candidates for recurring and hard‑to‑fill roles through appropriate and targeted sourcing.
- Independently generate candidate flow at all levels through internal postings, proactive networking, career fairs, online job boards, local press, professional associations, social media and initiating other channels as appropriate.
- Provide quality market intelligence to business regarding the recruitment market, and build a pipeline/database of future talent based on market research and industry knowledge. Proactively seek out live market benchmark intelligence in relation to compensation.
- Play an active role in marketing/communication activities to enhance the Client employment brand.
- Commercial banking services industry recruitment experience.
Must Have Skills:
- 3 years’ full life‑cycle recruitment experience.
- Strong sourcing, networking, and lead generation skills to locate candidates with difficult to find skill sets in local and other markets.
- Excellent relationship building skills and proven ability to provide value added consultative service; provide support in a coaching and advisory capacity to all levels of management.
- Strong client service orientation; results oriented, multi‑tasking and strong sense of urgency; impact and influence skills.
- Strong telephone and presentation skills; strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with e‑Recruitment tools and behavioral based Interviews.
Nice to have Skills:
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with candidates and partners across Canada
- Commercial banking services industry recruitment experience.
