Job Description

Extendicare is seeking a Recruitment Partner to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will support full-cycle recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and advising hiring managers throughout the process. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will play a key role in attracting top talent across the organization.

As a brand ambassador for Extendicare, you will also help strengthen our employer presence through online platforms and recruitment events.

This role is located at our Markham, ON Head Office. Extendicare offers a hybrid working environment.

Accountabilities
  1. Lead all aspects of the recruitment cycle, including intake, sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  2. Partner with hiring leaders to understand role requirements and develop recruitment strategies.
  3. Use data and analytics to provide insights into recruitment trends and ensure KPIs are being met.
  4. Collaborate with HR business partners and outside vendors.
  5. Update and manage candidate activity in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) – Workday.
  6. Develop effective sourcing strategies, building strong talent pipelines for current and future recruitment.
  7. Work on assigned projects to support and develop the corporate recruitment strategy.
  8. Facilitate in-person and online recruitment training for hiring leaders.
  9. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Corporate Recruiter supporting all levels of professional positions in a corporate environment. Preference for candidates with experience in Finance, IT, or HR.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment projects and open roles simultaneously in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • Ability to identify and implement innovative recruiting approaches.
  • Collaborative team player capable of managing competing demands and stakeholder needs.
  • Action-oriented with a focus on delivering results.
  • Proficiency with ATS and platforms like Workday and LinkedIn.
  • In-depth knowledge of talent acquisition best practices and employment legislation.
  • Flexibility to adapt to change and participate in consultative decision-making processes.
