Position Title: Recruitment Manager

Position Summary
The Recruitment Manager is responsible for leading OIHI’s domestic student recruitment strategy, with a primary focus on driving enrollment growth within Ontario’s career college sector. This newly structured role combines student recruitment leadership with oversight of marketing initiatives that support campaign success. The ideal candidate brings proven experience in building and executing student recruitment strategies, along with the ability to guide the development of marketing materials and campaigns that directly support enrollment objectives.
Responsibilities and duties
Recruitment Strategy & Execution
- Design and execute domestic recruitment strategies that strengthen OIHI’s presence in the Ontario career college market.
- Build and manage partnerships with high schools, community organizations, employment agencies, and other recruitment channels.
- Lead recruitment initiatives, including information sessions, career fairs, open houses, and community outreach.
- Collaborate with admissions to optimize the lead-to-enrollment process, including tracking, follow-up, and conversion strategies.
- Monitor and report on recruitment performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet enrollment goals.
Campaign & Collateral Support
- Oversee the creation of promotional materials and digital content to support recruitment campaigns.
- Ensure that all collateral aligns with enrollment priorities and resonates with prospective students and their families.
- Provide direction on the design and content of recruitment-focused brochures, digital ads, and social media campaigns.
Digital & Community Engagement
- Maintain a strong online and social media presence that highlights OIHI programs and student success stories.
- Track engagement and use analytics to guide future recruitment content and outreach strategies.
- Represent OIHI at key community and education events as a visible ambassador for the institution.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in student recruitment, preferably within Ontario’s career college sector.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver successful domestic recruitment strategies.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario’s education landscape and student recruitment channels.
- Experience overseeing the creation of campaign collateral and marketing content.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Preferred:
- Experience in post-secondary education recruitment.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and digital advertising platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM and digital campaign performance metrics.
