Job description

Job Type: Full-Time | Location: Vancouver, BC | Department: People, Culture & Community | Reporting to: Talent Acquisition | Work Location Type: #hybrid

IREN is a vertically integrated AI Cloud provider, delivering large-scale data centers and GPU clusters for AI training and inference. IREN’s platform is underpinned by its expansive portfolio of grid-connected land and power in renewable-rich regions across North America, Europe and APAC.

With 100% renewable energy, we build, own and operate our data centers and take pride in being at the forefront of sustainable solutions for the ever-evolving applications of high-performance compute. We believe that human progress is invaluable, but it should be done in the right way – responsibly, sustainably and having a positive impact on the communities we operate in.

We’re looking for a highly driven Recruitment Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to bring structure to chaos. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our hiring process - juggling multiple priorities, managing tight deadlines, and ensuring every detail is flawlessly executed. A strong sense of urgency, exceptional organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail are essential. If you’re energized by high-volume coordination, love keeping things moving, and take pride in delivering a seamless candidate experience under pressure, we’d love to hear from you.

Job Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in office administration or an entry-level HR support role, with hands‑on exposure to HR processes, reporting, and data tracking.

  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy while managing high volumes of tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (data tracking and reporting), as well as Planner, SharePoint, and Teams for coordination and collaboration.

  • Highly organized and able to prioritize competing deadlines while supporting multiple stakeholders across recruitment and HR functions.

  • Proactive, resourceful, and solutions‑focused, with the ability to anticipate needs and follow through with minimal supervision.

  • Strong coordination and administrative skills, with the ability to bring structure and clarity to busy workflows.

  • Exposure to recruitment coordination (interview scheduling, candidate communication, ATS management) is an asset.

  • Familiarity with U.S. and Canadian HR practices, employment standards, and compliance requirements is considered a plus.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare, issue, and track offer letters and employment agreements, ensuring accuracy, proper approvals, and timely delivery.

  • Coordinate and initiate background checks within required turnaround times, proactively monitoring progress and following up to ensure completion.

  • Support the planning and coordination of job fairs, recruitment events, and team engagement activities.

  • Schedule interviews across multiple stakeholders, manage calendar logistics, and ensure candidates and hiring leaders are fully prepared.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive HR and candidate information, ensuring compliance with privacy standards and internal policies.

  • Serve as a point of contact for candidate and external inquiries, providing timely, professional communication throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

  • Manage day‑to‑day recruitment administration to deliver a seamless, organized, and positive candidate experience.

  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including documentation, system updates, and status communications to all candidates.

  • Extract and compile data from HR systems to generate reports in Excel (e.g., headcount, recruitment metrics, turnover), ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
