We require the talent of a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to closing hires. You will collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and ensure the timely and effective recruitment of top talent. This role requires strong sourcing skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously. This role will have particular focus on hiring production employees.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies.
  • Source candidates through a variety of channels (e.g., job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, community partnerships).
  • Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and interview candidates to assess qualifications.
  • Coordinate interviews and assist with the onboarding process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment progress to hiring managers and HR.
  • Facilitate orientation for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience during the onboarding process.
  • Assist with other HR Team responsibilities including event planning, back-up support to the HR Generalist, and Employee Relations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a recruiter, with a focus on full-cycle recruitment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to do presentations to large groups on orientation items
  • Familiarity with ATS systems (ADP)
  • Experience recruiting for manufacturing is considered an asset.

Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
