Connections Group are hiring an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join their team. This role is suitable for a career-focused individual who would like to progress their career in recruitment, based in our Swords office.

We cover permanent and contract solutions across a number of sectors including Sales & Marketing, Hospitality, Retail, Supply Chain & Logistics, Construction & Development, Pharmaceutical & Science, Financial Services & Technology.

The Role

The ideal candidate should be personable with a positive, enthusiastic attitude and the ambition to succeed. This is a busy role and would suit someone who has the ability to multitask and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

You will have the opportunity to develop the business focusing on the construction, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors.

As a Recruiter, you'll be supported by colleagues & managers with a wealth of experience in the recruitment industry. The role will allow you to find new ways to develop your client base, work with the management team on new initiatives and projects, provide specialist advice to candidates and clients, and develop and implement effective sales plans.

You will need to establish relationships with our existing clients to fully understand their needs, maintain ongoing communication, and always deliver a first-class experience. You will be developing a strong awareness of the business and sourcing new clients through various sales & business development techniques.

You will manage the entire recruitment process – developing client relationships to attract top talent, conducting interviews, ensuring compliance, and placing candidates, while always providing a positive experience for the candidate and guiding them through the process. You will continuously source candidates and match them to the roles in which they will be most successful.

Requirements

• 2 years + agency recruitment experience is essential
• A career-focused individual who is looking to progress their career in recruitment
• Strong knowledge of construction or supply chain & logistics
• Proven track record of billing success within a 360 recruitment position including business development
• Previous experience in pitching business to all levels of management
• Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Passion to succeed and be part of a fast-paced, driven team
• People-focused with the ability to build, develop and maintain key relationships and build a strong network
• Capability to manage time effectively and prioritize workload
• Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
