The Census of Population is conducted to develop a statistical portrait of Canada and Canadians on one specific day, providing information about people and housing units by their demographic, social and economic characteristics.
This staffing process will be used to staff various CR-04 positions, or equivalents, with durations and requirements varying by position. Some asset qualifications may be required or added depending on the position. The first step of the process will begin in August 2025 with screening; other assessment processes may occur if vacancies arise. Number of positions to be filled is to be determined.

Essential qualifications include:
Education: Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Essentials Experience: EXP1 General administrative support; EXP2 computer functions (email, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations).
Asset Qualifications: AEXP1 Client service by telephone/in person/in writing; AEXP2 Recruitment-related experience; AEXP3 Experience working on a census.
Language requirements: English Essential; Bilingual (BBB/BBB) may be required and assessed later.
