Technology Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Partner

We are a privately owned company with a fun, start-up company culture and are looking to expand our office locations. We have a very competitive commission-based structure with NO CAP on the amount of bonuses you can bring in through your own revenue generation!

We are looking for highly driven full-desk recruiters with a love for technology to add to our talent acquisition and sales team. What You’ll Be Doing

You will be running a full lifecycle recruiting desk, generating client business through your own lead generation methodology and using our proprietary systems to source for the best talent available in highly competitive markets. As the primary point of contact for your clientele, you will be negotiating fee agreements, delivering on resumes and interviews as well as negotiating salaries for candidates.

  • Recruiting, hiring and placing IT professionals in contract, perm and contract-to-hire positions with our clients
  • Identify high-caliber candidates based on job requisitions using our ATS Applicant Tracking System, LinkedIn and / or other social media sites e.g. Indeed
  • Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates
  • Ensures dedicated on-going communication with qualified applicants during the recruitment process
  • Managing ongoing engagements to deliver outstanding customer service to both clients and candidates
  • Engage in relationship building and networking activities with Account Managers to develop additional sales opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders including Hiring Managers and External Vendors
  • Providing consistent communication and career guidance to candidates
  • Participating in industry trade associations to increase our presence within the local IT community
  • Develop candidate pipelines using our ATS Applicant Tracking System

Requirements : What would prepare you for success on our team?

  • 1-3 + years of recruiting experience in an agency environment
  • Knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting
  • Knowledge or experience using LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Experience with CRM and ATS applicant tracking systems
  • Experience with cold calling and qualifying candidates
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A strong work ethic and professional integrity
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills and consultative selling success
  • Demonstrated ability to function / recruit on a national, multi-location level
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g., Boolean search, LinkedIn)
  • Nice to have :

  • Knowledge or experience with Government procurement methods and supply arrangements.
  • Experience with the proposal process, RFS-RFP bid preparation.
  • Familiarity with IT professional staffing pricing and quality assurance on bid responses.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) would be considered an asset.
