We’re seeking a proactive, high-energy Recruiter II to join a top Canadian financial institution’s Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence. This role will support high-volume hiring needs and manage end-to-end recruitment for designated business portfolios. The ideal candidate brings advanced sourcing experience, relationship-building expertise, and a strong customer experience mindset, all while operating within a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. Key Responsibilities:
Customer-Facing Duties:
  • Act as a Talent Advisor, guiding hiring decisions with deep market and organizational knowledge
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, assessing, and presenting shortlists
  • Build talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs
  • Use internal systems (e.g., Workday) and external platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter) to source and manage candidates
  • Ensure a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience in alignment with brand values
  • Represent the company at recruitment events and deliver information sessions as needed
  • Partner closely with HRBPs, HR CoEs, and internal business stakeholders
Operations & Reporting:
  • Prioritize and manage your recruitment workload to meet service level agreements
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in hiring practices
  • Track KPIs like time-to-offer, time-to-fill, and candidate experience
  • Analyze data, prepare reports, and deliver insights on recruiting trends
  • Contribute to recruitment initiatives and branding campaigns
Required Experience:
  • 2–4 years of recruitment experience, with a focus on proactive sourcing and headhunting
  • Experience working in high-volume recruiting environments
  • Public speaking or presentation experience (e.g., delivering info sessions)
  • Bachelor’s degree required (HR preferred)
Nice-to-Have Experience:
  • Experience recruiting in banking or financial services
  • Former banking experience
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and Workday
  • Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset
  • Recruiting for executive or leadership roles
