Position Overview

We are seeking a Recruiter to join our HR team in our Saint John Corporate Office. In this role, you will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent to support our growing business. You will work closely with department managers to understand staffing needs and ensure a seamless recruitment process that reflects our company values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various roles.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, screening/interviewing and assisting with onboarding.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline through networking, social media, and industry events.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies throughout the hiring process.
  • Promote Bayview Trucks & Equipment as an employer of choice through branding initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
  • Experience with international recruiting and global talent acquisition would be considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools is an asset.
