Job summary

OSCO Construction Group in Ontario seeks a Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment for a range of roles, including skilled trades, technical, and professional positions. You will partner with hiring leaders to understand workforce needs and deliver a positive candidate experience across our businesses.

This hands-on, relationship-focused role supports employer brand growth through community engagement, workforce partnerships, and ongoing recruitment initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in full cycle professional recruiting and school engagement.
  • Experience recruiting across construction/manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
  • RPR or CPHR designation would be considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust with hiring managers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and align recruitment activities.
  • Proactively source, assess, and select candidates across multiple channels.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines through sourcing, school partnerships, and community outreach.
  • Ensure consistent use of the applicant tracking system for data integrity and reporting.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies and campaigns to attract qualified candidates across job families.
  • Host employer presentations, attend job fairs, and engage in recruitment outreach activities.
  • Develop recruitment outreach materials to enhance visibility and employer brand.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, the Recruiter plays a key role in building and sustaining a diverse, high‑quality talent pipeline across our businesses. This position supports full‑cycle recruitment for a wide range of roles, including skilled trades, technical, and professional positions.

This is a hands‑on, relationship‑focused role suited for a Recruiter who enjoys working across varied candidate populations, partnering closely with hiring leaders, and delivering a consistent and positive candidate experience. The Recruiter also supports employer brand growth through community engagement, workforce partnerships, and ongoing recruitment initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Manage full‑cycle recruitment for a variety of positions, ensuring a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, prioritize requisitions, and align recruitment activities accordingly
  • Proactively source, assess, and select candidates using multiple channels and platforms
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines through continuous sourcing, workforce development programs, school partnerships, and community outreach
  • Champion accurate and consistent use of the applicant tracking system to support data integrity, compliance and reporting
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies and campaigns to attract qualified, motivated candidates across multiple job families
  • Host employer presentations, attend professional job fairs and other related recruiting outreach activities
  • Develop and maintain recruitment outreach materials that support visibility and employer brand consistency
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a full cycle professional recruiting and school engagement function, preferably within a construction / manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor of Business Administration degree or relevant post-secondary degree
  • RPR or CPHR designation would be considered an asset
  • Experience recruiting across different role types (skilled trades, technical, professional)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with hiring managers, colleagues, and external partners
  • Confident presenter, comfortable speaking to groups and representing the organization in a professional manner
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and commitment to contributing to a positive, team‑oriented workplace
  • Possess own transportation with willingness and ability to travel to our locations in Ontario
