Purpose of Job
The Recruiter increases the overall performance of the organization by creating strong interactive partnerships with candidates within the medical services industry, working closely with the Recruitment Lead in recruiting and retaining top talent. This role will work to retain, attract, and engage new employees. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas, including, but not limited to recruitment and employee onboarding.
This is a full-time hybrid position and the hours are 8:30 am until 4:30 pm. Mondays and Fridays are work from home days; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are in office at our Leduc location.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively use ATS systems to drive the end-to-end talent acquisition process, recording all relevant details associated with job requisitions and candidates in a timely manner, ensuring applicants are categorized effectively and regularly conducting system ‘housekeeping’.
- Assist Recruitment Lead in utilizing various candidate sourcing channels from database mining to social networking searches and passive candidate headhunting.
- Conduct candidate pre-screens, interviews and background checks per portfolio.
- Create offer letters and send with onboarding packages via Docusign.
- Network at professional and trade events and participate in career fairs.
- Ensure “best practice” recruitment guidelines are administered throughout recruitment process by ensuring all hiring policies and procedures (ie: any compliance, legal and regulatory requirements).
About You- The person who holds this position will be required to not only work within a team, but is responsible for establishing and nurturing a team environment that facilitates smooth project delivery.
- The ability to solve problems and make concise and informed decisions is essential.
- A collaborative and confident personality will assist in facilitating your ability to interact with all key personnel thereby ensuring the effective delivery of contract requirements.
Required Skills And Knowledge- 1-3 years recruitment experience.
- Medical/healthcare staffing experience required.
- High volume staffing experience preferred.
- Oilfield/construction knowledge preferred.
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated ability to fill positions on time, within budget and a high degree of client satisfaction.
- SuccessFactors (MyHR) experience an asset.
