AgeCare is seeking a Recreation Worker to plan, develop and run a range of meaningful recreation and leisure activities that promote wellbeing, purpose and community among residents in long-term care homes.
The role supports resident skills, relationships and lifelong learning, collaborating with residents, families and staff to create engaging spaces and to observe and document participation for care planning and quality improvement.

The Recreation Worker plans, develops, and runs a variety of meaningful recreation and leisure pursuits which promotes wellbeing, purpose, creativity, a sense of community, lifelong learning, and fun. The Recreation Worker facilitates planned and spontaneous opportunities to support the maintenance and development of resident skills and knowledge as well as the development of relationships and personal connections.
$23.46 per hour Salary placement based on qualifications and experience.
