Westview Lodge at Penticton Regional Hospital is seeking a dedicated Recreation Therapy Worker | Bus Driver to join our compassionate team. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you'll play a pivotal role in implementing our established Recreation Therapy Program, fostering engagement and connection among our residents.

Your Role

In this dynamic role, you'll lead and facilitate a variety of individual and group leisure/recreation therapy programs, including arts, sports, music, and more. Your responsibilities will encompass setting up and organizing program spaces, assisting residents in participation, and collaborating with nursing staff and therapists to ensure a seamless experience. Additionally, you'll accompany residents on outings, ensuring their safety and enjoyment while confirming program details with relevant team members.

Position Information

This is a relief part time (0.59FTE) position working rotating day shifts from 08:00 to 15:30.
