About Us

Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital is committed to providing exceptional healthcare services, and we're in search of a dynamic Recreation Therapy Worker to become a valued member of our interdisciplinary team. As a Recreation Therapy Worker, you'll play a vital role in implementing our established Recreation Therapy Program, focusing on geriatric residents and short-stay clients.

How You Can Make a Difference

Working within a client-centered model, you'll assist residents to/from their programs, lead engaging leisure/recreation therapy activities, and facilitate customized group sessions (social, physical, spiritual, etc.), including one-to-one programs. Your keen observations of resident progress and behavior will contribute valuable insights to the Supervisor/Recreation Therapist, influencing positive changes to existing programs.
