This position is in support of the new Health In Supported Housing (HSH) programs, a partnership between Fraser Health and supported housing providers. This is an excellent position for those who are passionate about working with people with low access to the social determinants of health. HSH is a low-barrier housing program that works with clients living with mental health and substance-use challenges, and sometimes medical complications, who have struggled with housing in the past. There would be some travel between housing facilities, one facility being located in Burnaby and the other in Maple Ridge. This may be a good position to transition between physical OT and mental health / substance use OT, as there will be elements of both. This is still a developing role, so there is a good amount of flexibility to shape the practice.

We invite you to apply today and find out why employees recommend Fraser Health to their friends as an exceptional place to work. We are committed to planetary health, we value diversity in the work force and seek to maintain an environment of Respect, Caring and Trust.
