Job Summary:
The Recreation Therapist is responsible for all processes involved in the onboarding of new clients to the Assisted Living Program. The Recreation Therapist maintains and supports the team care model approach, consistent with VON mission statement, program operational goals, and individual participant goals.

Working conditions and physical demands: This role requires a detail-oriented approach in a dynamic environment, with physical activity including lifting, carrying (using proper techniques), bending, reaching, kneeling, and other movements that emphasize good body mechanics.
