The Manager of Recreation and Community Relations is a full-time, permanent position within the Town of Slave Lake. Reporting to the Director of Community Services and liaising with all other Town departments, this role ensures a coordinated effort in delivering a broad range of services, programs, and events. The position manages the Legacy Centre, acts as the primary contact for its tenants and event stakeholders, and maintains community partnerships.
The successful candidate will lead and inspire a team responsible for developing and delivering recreational and community programs and events, overseeing the management of the Multi Recreation Centre (MRC) complex and related municipal services across various town facilities. Responsibilities include managing staff, developing budgets, coordinating programs and events, fostering community partnerships, and providing reports to senior management and Town Council.
Salary: $44.06 - $55.53 per hour
