As a Recreation Team Member, You Will:

• Support our resident-centered social culture by delivering high-quality recreational programming tailored to residents' needs, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to advocate for active participation in their care decisions.
• Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and team members to promote holistic care focusing on quality of life.
• Plan and implement programs that support residents' physical, emotional, spiritual, social, and cognitive well-being, aligned with their care plans.

Qualifications for Success:

• Enrolled in or completed a diploma or degree in recreation, leisure studies, or gerontology from a recognized institution.
• Aligned with our Village philosophy and family values.
• Caring and respectful attitude towards residents, families, and colleagues.

Assets:

• Knowledge of therapeutic recreation domains and practices.
• Understanding of relevant legislation such as the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007.
