Company Description

We are hiring a part-time evening and weekend Receptionist for our Toronto office. This role requires evening (5 pm - 9 pm) and weekend (9 am - 6 pm) shifts.

Job Responsibilities
  • Answer calls from a switchboard, screening and directing calls to appropriate parties, and taking messages for those who do not want to leave a voicemail.
  • Ensure a professional and courteous approach with clients, visitors, and employees.
  • Handle incoming/outgoing mail and courier packages, including filing waybills appropriately.
  • Greet visitors professionally and notify the appropriate person of their arrival.
  • Update the monthly calendar with onsite and offsite courses, meetings, and seminars.
  • Verify phone numbers and addresses of clients for field staff.
  • Verify voicemail numbers for field staff and HCSS (Home and Community Care Support Services).
  • Liaise with building management for maintenance requests and with security for parking issues.
  • Sort, date stamp, pick up, and deliver mail to employees.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • 1 year of previous reception and switchboard experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and good written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where multitasking and prioritizing are essential
