This range is provided by Lifemark Health Group. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

CA$18.00 / hr - CA$20.00 / hr

Position

The Receptionist / Care Coordinator is responsible for fostering strong relationships between the clinic and its patients, staff, funders, and referral sources. This involves providing administrative support and coordinating clinic activities with friendly, enthusiastic, and professional service.

Responsibilities include patient intake, data entry, answering phones, outbound calling, managing faxes and emails, coordinating referrals, invoicing, and payments.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Answer calls, greet patients and visitors, and provide excellent customer service
  • Coordinate referrals for WorkSafe, LTD, and ICBC clients
  • Manage patient intake and treatment documentation
  • Assist with paperwork completion to ensure accuracy
  • Schedule appointments and maintain patient records
  • Collect payments at the time of service
  • Track funding approvals
  • Handle data entry and billing
  • Manage courier shipments and incoming / outgoing correspondence
  • Provide administrative support to the Care Coordinator Manager and Clinic Director

Qualifications & Core Competencies

  • High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficient computer and data entry skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Preferably 2+ years of experience in a physiotherapy clinic
  • Ability to work flexible hours
