Our client is seeking a friendly, professional, and resourceful Temporary Receptionist to join their dynamic Toronto office for a short-term coverage assignment. In this front-facing role, you will be the first point of contact for employees, clients, and visitors—helping to shape the welcoming and vibrant culture the company is known for. You’ll play a key role in supporting daily office operations, coordinating essential administrative tasks, and ensuring the reception area runs smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities
Greet visitors and manage front desk switchboard operations

Maintain cleanliness and stock of the dining room, beverage fridge, and vending machine

Load/unload dishwasher daily

Coordinate courier pickups and deliveries

Liaise with property management regarding facilities issues

Provide backup support to Executive Assistants as needed

Assist the Accounts Payable team with:

Inputting and reviewing company purchases

Managing invoice coding and tracking through approval process

Vendor communication and invoice follow-ups

Organizing financial documentation (paid invoices, void cheques, deposits, etc.)

Qualifications
High school diploma required; diploma or certificate in administrative or office studies preferred

Prior reception or office support experience required

Experience with financial systems, accounting, or purchasing support is an asset

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Detail-oriented and dependable

Resourceful with strong problem-solving abilities

Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks

Service-oriented with a team-player mindset

Comfortable working independently and prioritizing tasks

Confident, enthusiastic, and friendly demeanor

Strong interpersonal skills with relationship-building aptitude

French-language proficiency considered an asset
