Job description

Reporting to on-site Management, the Receptionist will respond to all incoming calls, greet and direct all visitors, and answer inquiries in a positive and professional manner, representing AgeCare.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Answer all incoming calls and respond to caller inquiries professionally;
  2. Redirect calls as appropriate and take clear, concise messages when required;
  3. Greet, assist, and direct all visitors;
  4. Pick up and sort internal mail;
  5. Stamp, deliver, and maintain the mail machine for external mail;
  6. Prepare packages and arrange courier pick-up;
  7. Arrange meeting room schedules and bookings;
  8. Update phone and distribution lists;
  9. Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked, and well-organized reception area;
  10. Assist with small projects as required, such as labels and bulk mailing;
  11. Complete other duties as assigned;
  12. Uphold and promote the organization's values, particularly regarding ethics, morality, and integrity, as outlined in the Code of Conduct.
Qualifications
  • Above-average interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills;
  • Previous reception experience is an asset;
  • Professional and polished telephone manner;
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines;
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email).

Salary: $28.74 per hour
