A local business in Montreal is seeking a part-time and full-time receptionist. Responsibilities include greeting clients, managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and performing basic administrative tasks. The role requires strong English, excellent communication skills, and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. The position offers a starting wage of $25/hour with potential for overtime during busy tax seasons.
We are currently looking for a part-time and full-time receptionist to join our office. We are looking for someone around 20 hours a week from Monday to Friday between 8 AM & 4:30 PM with the exact hours and days being negotiable.
The starting wage is $25.00/hour.
:
· Greet and welcome clients in a professional and friendly manner
· Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or take detailed messages when appropriate
· Schedule appointments
· Manage incoming and outgoing mail packages
· Manage incoming and outgoing emails
· Basic administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, ordering office supplies, scanning and emailing documents
· Put together tax returns and file them for pick up
· Sorting of files, preparing spreadsheets for expenses and some light data entry for various company files
Required Skills:
· Strong English required
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong organization skills and the ability to multitask effectively
· Basic knowledge of Microsoft excel, word and outlook
· Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism
· Must be punctual and reliable
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Regular Office Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. During March and April some overtime will be required to meet the personal tax deadlines.
