Job summary

Brandt is seeking a Receptionist to be the first point of contact for customers, suppliers, and visitors at our on-site location in Alberta. You will handle communications and provide base administrative support while presenting a professional and welcoming environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Prior reception or customer service experience is a plus, and there are opportunities for growth within Brandt.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous customer service or reception experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist all visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Respond to incoming telephone, email, and in-person inquiries.
  • Refer inquiries to the appropriate department or individual.
  • Present a positive and professional image of the organization in all interactions.
  • Type basic correspondence including forms, letters, reports, and memos.
  • Assist with basic data entry and compilation for reports.
  • Perform general office duties as required.
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail, packages, and courier deliveries.
  • Administer and manage outbound mail, including priority post and courier services.
  • Order and maintain inventory of office supplies at cost-effective pricing.
  • Coordinate bookings for boardrooms and meeting spaces.
  • Ensure necessary presentation equipment is available and set up.
  • Assist in organizing logistics for meetings, workshops, and special events.
  • Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.
