Job summary

Canoe Financial is seeking a professional receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and guests at our Calgary office. You will provide essential administrative support across teams and help maintain meeting spaces and communications.

Responsibilities include greeting visitors, managing calendars, coordinating catering and shipments, and supporting the Sales team with data entry. The role requires strong organizational and confidentiality skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Previous experience in reception or office administration.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Provide a positive and professional first impression for clients visiting or calling the office.
  • Able to identify effective and efficient solutions to problems.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to adapt to varying deadlines.
  • Detail oriented, ensuring excellence in duties performed.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
