Job summary

Extendicare is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join our front-desk team. You will be the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors and staff, delivering professional administrative support.

Responsibilities include answering calls, greeting visitors, managing sign-in/out, coordinating admissions/discharges with the scheduler, and keeping the reception area organized and secure. A strong communicator with attention to detail fits well here.

  • Previous reception experience is an asset.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Highly organized and detail-focused.

Job Description

The Receptionist at Extendicare is responsible for providing essential administrative and front-desk support.

  • Maintaining a clean, safe, fully stocked, and well-organized reception area.
  • Assisting with small projects as required by other administrative support.
  • Upholding and promoting the organization's values and philosophy as set out in Extendicare's Code of Conduct.
Qualifications

Qualifications for the Receptionist position include:
