Northern Health is seeking a Receptionist to support the Specialty Clinics in Granisle, BC. The role covers welcoming visitors, answering calls, processing client documents, data entry, scheduling appointments, and preparing routine correspondence in line with NH policies.
Under supervisor, the receptionist will perform filing, operate office equipment, and maintain accurate information while delivering courteous service to patients and staff in a remote BC community.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Receptionist performs a variety of receptionist and administrative support functions in accordance with Northern Health policies and procedures. Under the direction of the manager or designate, the Receptionist is responsible for receiving visitors, telephone answering, completing client documentation, word processing, data entry, scheduling appointments, preparing routine correspondence and reports, filing, and operating office equipment in the corresponding department.
Granisle is surrounded by pristine beauty unique to this part of Canada, the friendly village of Granisle was originally built on the shore of the beautiful Babine Lake to accommodate miners from the copper mine on Copper Island. Granisle has a population of 337 (2021) and is located to the north between Burns Lake and Houston. Granisle offers many services including a library, post office, medical centre, elementary school and an RCMP station.
