VCA Canada is seeking a Reception Team Coordinator in Vancouver, BC to lead onboarding and training for CSR staff, support hospital initiatives and SOP development, and ensure effective team communication. The role participates in safety, scheduling, and recruitment activities while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and collaboration.

The candidate will work with a team to implement VAERC standards, develop training materials, and recognize achievements through the Recognize App,

Qualifications

• Must possess CSR role status in good standing with VAERC.
• Able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, Workday, Instinct, Financial Day End procedures, Moneris POS machines and cash handling skills.
• Read and follow MSDS sheets and adhere to Health & Safety guidelines for hazardous materials and radiation safety.
• Displays tact, diplomacy and complete confidentiality with colleagues, clients and fellow leaders.

• When schedule permits, attends recruitment sessions at local educational institutions to discuss student opportunities at VAERC
• Assists with maintaining hospital safety standards and brings concerns forward to the Health & Safety Committee
• Ensures quarterly/bi-annual CSR team meetings are scheduled and carried out in a timely manner
• Submits a weekly in-person or written update to senior leadership to address progress or needs to the CSR team

Location: Vancouver, BC
Compensation: $19.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Administrative Duties

• Produces CSR/Liaison schedules with advance notice, ensuring equal and fair rotations for all full‑time staff members and adequate coverage for time‑off requests. Works closely with other hospital schedulers to ensure adequate coverage.
• With GM/AGM support, assists with candidate screening and interviewing via Workday job requisitions
• Participates in hospital errands as needed
• Follows VCA Canada policies and procedures as set out in the VCA Employee Manuals
• Maintains the daily deposit tracking sheet, ensuring timely bank deposits and correcting register errors
• Other duties as assigned
