DEPARTMENT: HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT

Role

We are seeking recent graduates to join our Health, Safety and Environment Team in Edmonton, AB. The successful candidates will be hired into our Global Trainee (GT) Program, which includes training, international travel, and networking opportunities.

The Global Trainee position involves contributing to specific functions while learning, training, and developing skills in that area to gain a comprehensive understanding of processes, products, and services. We are looking for candidates with Health, Safety & Environment related degrees with less than 4 years of professional experience.

During your time as a Global Trainee (GT), you will:

  • Observe core processes through on-the-job training, project assignments, and training activities.
  • Collaborate on critical project execution.
  • Learn about Tenaris strategies, systems, and processes.
  • Analyze information and prepare reports and other deliverables, gaining deep knowledge of the exposed processes.
  • Maintain regular contact with other areas of the company and interact across hierarchical levels to achieve performance and results.
  • Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators to measure area results.
  • Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, management standards, and applicable laws and regulations.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Less than 4 years of related professional experience.
  • Graduated with an engineering degree in the last 4 years, specializing in Health & Safety, Environment, Chemical, or related fields.
  • Excellent Office Suite skills.
  • Self-driven and proactive.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Loves learning and executing high-level results.
