Job summary

The Home Depot Canada in North Bay is seeking a Receiving Supervisor to oversee unloading, receiving and placement of merchandise, and to train Associates in Home Depot procedures and safety guidelines.

Qualified candidates will lead with strong communication and leadership skills, ensure equipment is used safely (lift trucks, pallet jacks), and drive team performance while maintaining high service standards for store operations.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Supervising Associates within department(s) of responsibility.
• Overseeing work activity within his/her department(s).
• Communicates store and Home Depot objectives to associates.
• Scheduling Receiving Associates' and RTV work time and training.
• Training and certifying Associates and RTV to use equipment.
• Training Associates in safe receiving and RTV procedures and standards.
• Motivating Receiving Associates and the RTV and assisting in their development.
