Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Receiving Outfitter to support back-room operations in Canada. The role involves receiving P.O.’s, counting packages, stocking from back room to floor, repacking and organizing merchandise, and performing floor checks and replenishment with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to stand for long periods, wear steel-toe boots, and be eligible to obtain a PAL license.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and other business contacts in a courteous, positive and professional manner.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle boxes of merchandise.
• Steel toes work boots are required.
• Must be able to obtain a PAL license.

Responsibilities

• Systematically receive P.O.’s that come into the building
• Physical count of all packages coming into the building and verify count with packing slip
• Conduct stocking activities from back room to sales floor
• Repackaging and handling of newly arriving products
• Conduct general replenishment of all departments including facing, hanging merchandise
• Floor checks including cleaning, pricing updates, and signage, inventory, and min/max verification
• Assist with merchandise purges when necessary

Summary

Reporting to the Back Room Department Manager, a Receiving Outfitter is responsible for backend operations including receiving, warehouse, inventory control, replenishment, stocking and maintenance/housekeeping departments

Responsibilities

• Systematically receive P.O.’s that come into the building
• Physical count of all packages coming into the building and verify count with packing slip
• Conduct stocking activities from back room to sales floor
• Perform tasks including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing and re-hanging of newly arriving Cabela’s Canada product
• Conduct general replenishment of all departments including facing, hanging merchandise
• Conduct floor checks including cleaning, updates to pricing and signage, inventory, verification of min/max settings, ensuring that shelves are full and that security tags are in place
• Assist with merchandise purges when necessary

Starting Pay Rate: $18.25 - $20.75
