Job summary

Nature's Fare Markets in Kelowna seeks a Receiver/Store Team Member to help keep shelves stocked and orders flowing. You welcome drivers, inspect incoming products, and handle shipping paperwork. This is a 12-month contract that supports local, organic foods.

You’ll join a close-knit team, ensure product quality, manage holds, and assist customers when they arrive. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a positive store environment with opportunities to learn and grow within our BC-based

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a similar shipping & receiving role.
• Ability to lift up to 50kg.
• Passion for local, organic and sustainable food and natural supplements.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome delivery drivers and receive orders from vendors and other Nature’s Fare locations.
• Ensure products are undamaged and suitable for customers.
• Manage special customer orders or holds and communicate with customers in-store.
• Process paperwork or invoices as part of shipping and receiving.
• Keep back shelves organized and clean.
• Work as part of a team and support colleagues to keep shelves and store tidy.
• Be helpful, share knowledge about products, stay safe, and have fun.

The successful candidate can expect to work40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday(subject to change)

Regular Store Hours:

Mon – Sat 8:00am – 8:00pm
Sun 9:00am – 7:00pm

RECEIVERTEAM MEMBER

As part of our team, you are part of the magic that keeps the flow and order of things moving. This role receives incoming products to keep our shelves stocked for our customers so they are able to grab what they need, when they need it. You are the "go-to" for day-to-day invoice paperwork and product shipping questions for the team.

This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• You welcome delivery drivers and receive orders that arrive from our vendors and other Nature’s Fare locations each day.
• Quality products is important to us and our customers so you make sure there are no obvious damages to the orders as they come in.
• You manage special customer orders or holds and connect with our customers when they come in.
• Process any paperwork or invoices needed as part of the shipping and receiving process at the store
• Taking pride in your work environment is important which is why the back shelves are organized and clean.
• This position works as part of a team and jumps in to help ensure team members are supported and our products and store look their best!
• In other words, you will help others, share your knowledge on our amazing products, be safe, be a great team player and have fun!
