Job summary

Nature’s Fare Markets is seeking a friendly cashier to join our customer service team in Langley. You will help promote loyalty, explain promotions, and ensure accurate, efficient checkout while maintaining a clean, inviting store environment.

You should enjoy helping people and be capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 22 kg. Flexible scheduling includes weekends, holidays, mornings, and evenings to support store needs.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, early evenings and days.

Job description

Successful candidates will be scheduled anywhere up to 24 hours /week and will need to be available for a variety of shifts including morning, evenings and at least 1 weekend day.

As our cashier, you are an integral part of our customer service team, and are responsible for promoting positive, lasting relationships with our customers. In addition to caring about people, this position cares about accuracy.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

• You are trained in and hold extensive product knowledge on Nature’s Fare Markets items
• You manage customer wait times to ensure we are processing and bagging in an efficient and accurate manner
• You have an eye for detail, you keep your area department clean, organized and attractive for our customers
• You take time to get to know the people in our store and want the best for our customers; explaining promotions, product features, and our loyalty program
