Strathcona County is seeking a detail-oriented Receivables and Revenue Coordinator to support financial health and cash flow. The role handles accounts receivable, employee expense reimbursements, and corporate payments with emphasis on ambulance services billing and collections.

The position is temporary full-time up to 12 months, offering hybrid work options and opportunities to improve processes while delivering high-quality service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum five years of experience in accounts receivable or a general accounting role.
• Experience with financial systems and strong Excel skills.
• Knowledge of municipal government operations is an asset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Act as the primary point of contact for accounts receivable inquiries from internal departments and external customers.
• Prepare, issue, and reconcile invoices for ambulance services and other billings.
• Process customer payments, prepare deposits, and generate account statements.
• Conduct collection activities, maintain accurate collection logs, and follow up on outstanding accounts.
• Liaise with insurance companies to support timely payment and re-billing when required.
