Job summary

YMCA of Three Rivers is seeking an EarlyON Educator to support children and families across the Waterloo Region. You will be a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) or actively enrolled in an ECE program, delivering age-appropriate programs in partnership with parents and caregivers.

The role is full-time with regular hours and occasional travel to multiple EarlyON sites. Starting annual rate is $50,427, with benefits including vacation, well-being days, and a pension after the qualifying

Qualifications

• RECE or actively enrolled in the Bachelor of Early Learning Program or an ECE program.
• Knowledge of child development and play, and inquiry-based learning.
• Experience creating nurturing environments for children, parents, and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring the centre offers quality, developmentally appropriate care and programs meeting regulatory standards.
• Engage parents and caregivers, sharing information about child development, nutrition, play, and learning.
• Uphold health and safety standards and maintain clean, well-maintained environments.
• Communicate effectively with families, YMCA colleagues, and community contacts.
• Provide program support across multiple EarlyON locations within Waterloo Region.
