Job description

Department: Repair & Care, ReBird

Reports to: Coordinator Lead, ReBird

Location: New Westminster

Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As the ReBird Assistant, you will assist the ReBird Coordinator in maintaining the flow of product to our internal and external partners. You will be supporting the ReBird business team by coordinating the day-to-day operations of the used-gear-to-repair workflows.

The ReBird team is constantly looking for new ways to extract more use out of our products and how to process more of it. Be a part of the initiative that is keeping as much of our gear in the field and not the landfill.


If you were the ReBird Assistant now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
  • You support the ReBird repair process and technique improvements.
  • You manage the administrative processing of ReBird equipment in and out of the process flow.
  • You maintain reporting documentations for internal use by ReBird Services, Quality Control and Design teams.
  • You will be assisting in logistics, assessing, QC and bundling
  • Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
  • You own the day-to-day ReBird processing flow.
  • You work with key stakeholders to help drive continuous improvement
  • You help come up with new ways of repurposing or repairing product
Are you our next ReBird Assistant?
  • You have highly effective verbal and written English communication skills to communicate with multiple departments and teams
  • You have previous relevant Quality Control experience (etc. manufacturing or textile industry)
  • You have high attention to details and have accurate data entry skills
  • You have general computer knowledge and are proficient in Microsoft Office
  • You have strong interpersonal skills with ability to deal with difficult situations with tact and professionalism
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced and labour intensive environment requiring problem-solving skills and repetitive tasks
  • You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment

$44,000 - $55,000 a year A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$44,000- CAD55,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly transferable experience.
Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
