A leading healthcare institution seeks a Chair for its Research Ethics Board, responsible for protecting research participants and fostering ethical practices. This position requires an experienced MD or PhD in bioethics to enhance research quality and support innovation in patient care within a collaborative environment.

Shifts : Monday-Friday
Status : 12 month appointment renewable
Position Summary
The REB oversees all research involving humans conducted under the auspices of UHN and is vested with the responsibility and authority to approve recommend modifications to reject or terminate any proposed or ongoing research involving humans conducted by researchers at the UHN. The REB is also delegated the authority to review and approve amendments to monitor reports of serious adverse events and significant protocol deviations and to conduct continuing reviews on all approved research studies.
