Job summary

Solace is seeking a software developer to join the team building the Solace Agent Mesh, an event-driven platform that connects, orchestrates, and scales AI agents in real time.

You will work on frontend and backend components, contribute to API design, and collaborate across teams to deliver robust solutions using agile practices. The role requires 3–5 years of experience, React skills, and Python/Java backend expertise.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional software development experience (frontend and backend).
• Experience developing React applications with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend tooling.
• Experience building backend services using Python and Java SpringBoot with RESTful API design.
• Understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and writing automated tests for web applications.
• Understanding of web technologies, HTTP protocols, and client-server architecture.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack development of React frontend components and backend API endpoints for the Solace Agent Mesh.
• Design and develop responsive user interfaces and robust backend services that communicate with the Solace Platform.
• Participate in requirements definition, design, implementation, testing, and deployments using agile practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to deliver features spanning multiple system components.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for frontend components and backend services.
• Debug and resolve issues across the full application stack.
• Contribute to documentation for APIs, components, and development processes.
