A leading staffing agency in Metro Vancouver seeks an Operations Officer I for Real Estate Secured Lending. Responsibilities include providing operational support to sales and underwriting teams, reviewing credit documentation, and ensuring compliance. JOB TITLE: Operations Officer I – Real Estate Secured Lending (RESL)
Provide operational support to the Sales Channel and Credit Underwriting teams with a customer-focused approach
Review, update, and analyze credit documentation to ensure submission quality and regulatory compliance
Execute multiple-step tasks related to Real Estate Secured Lending products across various systems and applications
Assist in ensuring documentation meets all legal and credit policy requirements
Previous experience in a professional or corporate environment
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven problem-solving abilities
Experience in mortgage lending or related financial services
Mortgage or real estate license (candidates holding these will not be considered)
Post-secondary education required
Provide guidance and support to business partners on a broad range of credit products within assigned authorization limits
Deliver operational and credit processing activities to meet business objectives and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Ensure complete and accurate data input in the origination system, supporting loan documentation preparation
Reconcile, verify, and process all necessary credit support materials to facilitate customer credit approval
Respond to business partner or customer inquiries by reviewing credit files and documentation
Address and escalate issues promptly to ensure efficient problem resolution
Interpret credit policies, legal requirements, and regulatory guidelines to ensure loan documents comply with standards
Provide direction and assist the team with complex account administration issues as required
