Created in 2015 to modernize infrastructure, the Technology & Infrastructure (T & I) team is the backbone of CBC/Radio-Canada. We support media content, systems, people and places, transforming from a traditional broadcaster to a modern digital media company. This is a hybrid position, with work arrangements discussed with hiring managers.

Your role

We are seeking an experienced analyst to support the Real Estate Transactions, Transmission team. You will review telecommunication site share applications, prepare related agreements, and coordinate with internal and external partners. Your responsibilities include negotiating lease terms, drafting agreements, and managing day-to-day transaction processes across Canada.

Responsibilities
  1. Review and analyze offers to validate operational requirements and provide recommendations.
  2. Prepare feedback and responses to municipalities and tower owners regarding site use.
  3. Liaise with legal, risk management, finance, engineering, and operations teams for negotiations.
  4. Perform lease administration activities, including follow-up and validation of documentation.
  5. Ensure timely transaction approval processes and reporting.
  6. Participate in budget review and forecasting, report on non-financial data.
  7. Provide regional transaction updates to management and team.
  8. Manage multiple projects concurrently.
Candidate Requirements
  • College diploma or university degree in business management, real estate law, development, or related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience negotiating and administering real estate contracts, preferably in telecommunications.
  • Financial acumen in analyzing contractual financial aspects; experience with budgeting is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and maintain high attention to detail.
  • Excellent judgment, decision-making, time management, and organizational skills.
