Job summary

Ifg Global is seeking a Financial Analyst - Real Estate in Canada for a hybrid role (3 days on site). You will support accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, and fund accounting across a growing portfolio of properties, development projects, and investment vehicles.

The ideal candidate is CPA-in-pursuit or in final certification stages, with 1–2+ years of corporate experience, strong ASPE/GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. Located in Toronto with on-site collaboration three days a week.

Qualifications

• CPA designation in progress or CPA-eligible
• 1-2+ years of relevant corporate experience; real estate/development experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of Canadian ASPE/GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills and strong Microsoft Office proficiency

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle accounting, treasury, property and development accounting, tax compliance, and fund/SPV accounting
• Manage cash reconciliations and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and financial reporting
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and property-level financial reporting
• Prepare financial statements accordance with ASPE and reporting for investment partners, lenders, and other stakeholders
• Support CAM reconciliations, cost recoveries, and property/development reporting
• Work with development and property management teams to ensure accurate activity is captured in Yardi
• Assist with audits, tax filings, lender reporting, and communications with external advisors
