Job summary

CBM Ready-Mix is seeking Ready-Mix Drivers based in Kanata. This permanent full-time vacancy offers an hourly rate of $28.75 to $30.25 and is part of Canada Building Materials (CBM), a VCNA division delivering ready-mix concrete across Ontario and Quebec.

Duties include pre-trip inspections, delivering and unloading concrete, interacting with customers, and safe truck operation. Qualifications include a valid DZ or AZ license with a 3-year driving record, knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act,

• Knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act.
• Experience with manual transmission and heavy equipment operation (loaders).

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections and other health and safety procedures.
• Deliver and unload concrete to customer sites.
• Be professional with customers/contractors.
• Operate trucks in a safe and consistent manner.
• Must be able to operate heavy equipment (loaders).
• Other duties as assigned.

Hourly rate: $28.75 - $30.25

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Flexible scheduling and ability to work overtime hours
