Minimum Qualifications

• Valid DZ driver’s license and clean abstract
• Knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act and municipality by-laws
• Knowledge of operating equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience driving a ready-mix concrete truck
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Mechanically inclined
• Basic understanding of concrete

Day in the Life

As a Ready Mix Driver, you will be responsible for transporting cargo, operating and driving trucks, and loading / unloading materials. Strong communication skills are necessary to coordinate with clients, customers, and dispatch.

When not driving, you will conduct daily vehicle checks, cleaning, and equipment maintenance, with safety as a priority. Staying organized with timesheets and log books is also important.
